Launch of the ZALIS data Centre, built on open source technology using Ubuntu and KVM/Libvirt combo. Not forgetting the latest in Open Source storage solutions..CEPH.

Ceph storage (CEPH) is a distributed storage solution that allows you to scale horizontally with multiple machines/heads instead of the more traditional methodologies which use centralized heads with large amounts of storage attached to them.

The principle here is that you should be able to buy lots of inexpensive computers with a bunch of direct attached storage and just cluster them to achieve scalability. Also, without a central point of failure or performance bottleneck you should be able to scale beyond the limitations of our past storage architectures. ... See more

2020 ANNOUNCEMENT NO.2:

Hello Tropical Royals Family,

Our second major announcement going into 2020 is that our Academy (Royal Cubs Academy) as well as the Adult Sport Club shall both start simultaneously on Sunday 05 January 2020.

It will be open for all to participate, no matter your skill level. We shall have specialized Coaches from the different sports disciplines ready to work with all participants.

It will happen every Sunday, 12:00 - 17:00 hrs at MUBS Sports Grounds. Please see attached poster for more details.
